The Bed and Breakfast Porta San Frediano is on the oltrarno, the most ancient and characteristic area of Florence, inside the historical center. In the area are the churches of Carmine, Cestello, Santo Spirito and the great Palazzo Pitti with the Boboli garden.
By crossing the Arno we find ourselves in the center.
Many restaurants, pizzerie, breweries, Cinese and Indian restaurants are close to the B&B.
Clients are handed the keys to make them totally independent. Check out is at 10:00 - 10:30, if clients want to visit Florence after checkout they can keep their luggage at the B&B.

The area is cozy and functional, rooms have a private bathroom, towels and sheets, hair drier, heating, TV, air conditioning (one room has a kitchen angle).

Marco will be glad to offer help and tips to make your stay as peaceful as possible. On arrival you will be given the map of Florence and will be given tips on the best routes, where to eat etc.
From the Stazione Firenze S.M.N: binary behind your back turn right and go down the ladders, cross the street and take a left, go round the palace and go straight in Via dell'Albero, always straight until you reach Ponte A.Vespucci, after crossing take a right, after 20 meters take a left towards the walls of Florence, continue untill Porta San Frediano and turn Right going under (Via Pisana), continue to go straight at the 3rd right is the B&B Via Monte Oliveto 2.
Taking the bus 12 from Santa Maria Novella Station (Directon Piazzale Michelangelo), get off at Giovanni della Casa/Viale R. Sanzio stop. Continue by foot for 50 meters and you will reach the b&B Porta San Frediano.
From the Highway Milan - Naples (A1): Take the Firenze-Certosa exit, continue towards Firenze on Via Senese for about 4 km, turn right in Via Gelsomino and continue for 1 Km, take a left at the stoplight in Viale Poggio Imperiale, at the Piazzale Porta Romana continue straight on Via Petrarca, once you pass 3 stoplights at the third turn right in Via Monte Oliveto 2. Public parking infront of the B&B.
